Short Forms Guidelines
Base information
The following fields are displayed to be filled by the user:
- First name
- Last name
- Phone number
Email address should be unique in the Satchel system, so if you already have a registered account in Satchel please use a different email address
Record in ZOHO CRM is created
After the initial form is submitted, a corresponding lead is created in Satchel CRM.
Start verification
The next step is to proceed with the remote verification on your device. To do that you need to click “Start verification” button
Consent and instructions
Before starting verification, access to the laptop/phone camera should be granted and then “Terms and conditions” should be reviewed and marked as accepted by clicking the “I Agree” button.
Document scanning
There are two options for the document scanning:
- Passport
- ID card
ID card or International passport scanning are accessible only for EU citizens.
International Passport only must be used by non-EU citizens.
After the document type is selected, scanning page opens and the document has to be presented to the camera according to the instructions displayed on the screen.
Face scan
Next step is to scan the face so the system can verify the consistency with the document scan, provided on the previous step.

Questionnaire
After the scanning phase is done, there are additional answers that have to be provided in order to complete the verification process.
Review the answers before submission
Once the questionnaire fields are filled and submitted, there’s a chance to review all the answers provided and make any potential edits if required.
Verification success
At this point the verification process is completed and the registration request is sent to the Satchel platform for the compliance review and final approval.
Confirmation email is sent to your email address, provided on the first step of the form.
Satchel CRM lead information is updated
After the successful registration on the platform, the corresponding record in Satchel CRM is updated and changes “Lead broker status” field to “Registered on the platform” that comes simultaneously with “Verification completed” field update.
Email confirmation
After the Welcome email is received, use the link provided in the first step in order to set a password for accessing the Client Office.

Set up password
Please follow the instructions on the “Setup Password” page in order to create a password.
Access to Satchel mobile application
Access Satchel Client Office from the mobile application using the email address and created password.
Awaiting approval
Registration and verification processes have been completed and the account application review is currently in progress. You will receive further notification with the review results to your email address.
Satchel Back Office. New application is created
Successful registration creates a new application in the Satchel BO. The record is created after the verification process is completed by the client.

Tax Identification Number is also visible in the CRM along with the rest of the information on the registered client.
Passport/ID card document and selfie files are available in the Back Office, Ondato Dashboard and Satchel CRM.
